HARLINGEN, TEXAS (Aug. 14, 2020) – The spread of COVID-19 has slowed much of life down and has affected small businesses in a big way.

The Harlingen EDC recognized a need in April to provide additional help to our small business community and in May launched the HELP for Small Business program. This loan thus far has helped more than 50 business owners keep their doors open and their staff on payroll.
