Do you need help reopening your business or remaining open? Funds are available

Harlingen, Texas (Jan. 29, 2021) – Workforce Solutions Cameron County is offering qualifying small businesses funds that would help them obtain supplies needed in order to re-open or remain open.

Cameron County employers can apply for funding by going online and filling out a short application specifying how funds would be used.

The money would be used to cover needed services or items required of a business due to Covid-19. Items and resources Workforce Solutions Cameron would fund include: PPEs, laptops, monitors, computers, virtual video conferencing software, decals, plexiglass, signs, cleaning supplies, training for e-commerce, etc.

The money is not to be used for renovations and is to be used by employers who are trying to re-open or remain open.
