A Growing Community

Harlingen is a town of an estimated population of 74,950, with a strong reputation as a trade and transportation center, home to an international airport, a port, an international bridge, a state college and huge medical complex.

Harlingen is also the second largest city in Cameron County and the third largest in the Rio Grande Valley. The city covers more than 34 square miles (88 km2) and has an elevation of 38 feet (11.6m) above sea level.
